Default Really Bad Idle - 1.8 Zetec

Hi There,
I have been having some problems recently with my 98 Escort 1.8 Si. The car was loosing a lot of power and idle was rough and cut out when engine was cold.

I took for an ECU scan which only uncovered an issue with AFM, I went to breakers and replaced this and all seemed well, idle improved a little and all my power has come back.

Day later... all my power is still there, however the idle has got worse - it will just keep cutting out all of the time if I'm at lights without foot on pedal. If I try and keep it around 1000-1500 with my foot it'll cough a bit, and then the revs will start climbing - it really fustrates me

Any ideas? Garage seem to think ICV looks new but it aint had one since I've owned it - and I got it at 78k and now it's done 87k.

I'm thinking about fitting a 2L throttlebody soon and some 2L cams and 130bhp ecu, is the ICV part of the throttlebody, and what pipework would I need to fit one with my existing airbox/ afm?

I would like to cure this problem really before having that lot fitted, would it be worth just getting a 1.8 throttlebody from breakers first (if ICV is part of it)

Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated - cheers
