All you really need to do is be careful with any kit. This type of modification is suited for n/a and turbocharged vehicles and does not require any major modifications.

From what I can remember when Nitrous Oxide burns it produces 10 times more oxygen (i think!!! correct me if I am wrong) and with a wet kit you add the additonal petrol to enable the oxygen to be burnt rather than detonating your engine.

Basically it acts like a turbocharger. forcing more oxygen at higher pressure into the engine.

I ran a diy install nitrous express system for over a year with no detrimental problems, and I could chase anything for fun.

Remember to have a professional check over the installation if you do it yourself to make sure you aint made a mistake. I trapped the main nitrous feed on my first attempt.!!!!

Great little mod. Just dont tell the insurance!!!! or the cops!!!!!
air is about 1/5th oxygen
nitrous is 1/3 oxygen

not sure where the 10 times figure came from that you were given, probably someones arsehole unless they were being really clever and taking into account phasing.
