You can test the pump with the fanta bottle test, i dont know off hand how much spare capacity it has, but i would be shocked if it cant handle 50bhp

you shouldnt need any other changes, you wont need to retard the timing if you use a good quality kit.

After ragging any engine really hard, its advisable to have a small cooldown period IMHO, but its not any more true on nitrous than on a tuned N/A motor making the same amount of heat.

Ignore 99% of what you ever here about nitrous if its not from someone you KNOW is an expert on the subject, its not something its a good idea to take advice on from people who "kind of" know what they are talking about.
