most of the cheaper ECUs (ie Emerald, DTA, T2, MBE, Omex etc.) aren't brilliant as boosted applications. They'll work, but you'll be able to get more driveability out of a proper system like Autronix, T6 etc. etc.

that being said, even the cheapest systems (ie megasquirt etc) will be fine for what you need, its just they might not be able to mimic the perfect driveability in all situations like EECIV can.
