If the claim goes against you, your insurer will pay for the other driver's car, but not for your girlfriends - cover provided while driving another car on your policy is only for 3rd party risks.

Your girlfriend would have to claim against you individually for her damage if that were necessary as her insurance won't cover her either, unless you stole the car!
