Hey folks. iv got a mate of mine wanting to put a M3 engine in a bmw compact 38ti. he thinks its gonna be kinda straight forward but i didnt seam to think so. he was plannin to use the standard 1.8 box. surly this cant take the power of the M3 block. iv also hear of folk changing the rear axle when doin this conversion. what bout diffs and shafts etc?? anyone know of someone whos done this? any help would be much appreciated
