The 0-5v input is what I have been told to look for, but I can unfortunately see no evidence of this in the current version. Hopefully Simon will release an update soon that will allow this input to be added!

Just for final clarity, I read through the manual, and have managed to pinpoint the EXACT setting that was preventing my car from running.

In the idle control screen on the setup, the bottom input box (which I cant remember the name of) is an override. Any figure in this box will override the normal control of the idle control valve, unless this figure is set to 0. In the estate map, and the base 4803 map, this figure was set to 1%,and as such the Idle Control Valve was doing nothing at all - hence no idle!

I'm not sure how it managed to idle on yours at 1000rpm with that setting!!! Doh!

Probably no point in worrying, but if you are bored, unplug your ICV lead whilst the car is running, and seeing what it idles at naturally...
