right, update..


if i just give the ecu a supply.. the car wont engage the starter motor

if i give the dead ign feed a supply ( and the ecu) then the car starts... BUT

I can remove the keys witht he car still running, only way to kill the engine is to remove the temp +ve feed


SO it must be ign based related......


any ideas?

the als relays were plugged in the wrong way and overheated.. these were connected to the +ve ign feed under the bonnet.. this has caused the prob..

The alarm is fine.... just somethings killed the signal to the starter.. inturn killing this underbonnet ign live
