Funny your comparison for "a bend" in Italian and Polish. One might get into trouble and not knowing it... By the way, "a bend" in Portuguese is exactly the same as in Italian: "curva", so I guess I have to be careful if I ever go to Poland...
Hopefuly Portguese pronaunciation is a little bit more alien to our ears. Italian pronaunciation sounds almost exactly like ours
