I MIGHT BE WRONG BUT A BUZZING NOISE ONLY WHEN ACCELARATING WOULD SUGGEST A FAULTY T.P.S, AS A FUEL PUMP WOULDNT ONLY BUZZ WHEN ACCELARATING, IT WOULD EITHER BUZZ, ON START UP OR WOULD BE CONSTANTLY, IF FAULTY.....
er, yeah lose the caps,
and with due respect, i know what im talking about, ive worked on hundrads of cars and have done for fucking years,....plus ive owned my FRST for 8 years so again.....

anyhow, pinking is a metallic sound, as its metal parts making the pinking nosie so it wouldnt buzz....... and it happens when under load.
TPS is what it is , it tells the ecu how far the throttle is open so the ecu knows how much fuel to push in (with help of other sensors etc)

yeah the fuel pump buzz when you turn the key, it primes, builds up pressure, when the cars running it will buzz all the time as its running to pump fuel, so wouldnt be faulty would it, its when it dont buzz you got the problem.

sure its not the fuel lines vibrating ?

if i was at the car and could hear it etc it would be a lot easier, but unfortunaly i cant be
