hi,just started my new engine for the first time and there is quite a bit of oil coming out the back of the turbo?just wondering what the possible causes are and if anyone has experienced this?as far as i know it could be oil passing the rings,oil coming through the turbo seals or coming in past the valve stem seals.when the engine isn't running the turbo shaft is turned easily but when it is running it becomes slightly stiff?if that gives any clues?its a brand new turbo and block and pistons.
