sbd16v I don't know about evo's but on most chavved up rides like saxos etc where lambo doors are fitted theres quite a bit of cutting/welding involved so I don't think you can just take them off if you dont like them as the hinges go well into the inner wings.
you can get kits that just bolt inside the front winges without any cutting there about 1500 a pair the cheaper ones need cutting but the better ones dont
That'll be why on a car I know one of the bolts sheared off and when he opens the door it just falls to the ground
I thought they all required cutting/welding. My mistake
