Remove front bumper, unbolt cooler: cry:

BEFORE you all slate me…..I know that £700 is WAY over the top to fit the GRS BUT if you look at it from Well Lanes point of view and think it is justifiable.

Well Lane is a fully established Garage and like most have a standard charge out rate [£35 + VAT I think] and will charge this rate for every hour spent working on your car. The GRS is a pig to fit correctly first time round [Getting it to clear the bumper, getting the fans to fit, modifying the bumper etc….]. If you take off the VAT and the standard charge of £60 + VAT for setting the car up then it works out they spent around 15 hours fitting the cooler.

In my own experience of fitting the GRS this is a little long but not outrageous!

The only thing they did wrong imo was not call you to authorise the work before continuing!

Lessons to be learnt – Learn to work on your car yourself and only leave the specialist stuff to the professionals.
