Anyone care to give any factual (ie non-rumour, as heard tons of that) of the noticable effects, good and bad of wrapping/coating manifold, exhaust housing, and exhaust.

Only effect ive physicly seen is a R5GTT manifold disintergrating when wrapped, and suprisingly, considering the rumours, hard abused cheap ebay tubular manifold surviving fine even though heat wrapped.

Performance effects id be interested in more than less enginebay heat.
