made 8 inch and a half wide L shaped brackets that were 3inch one side of the angle and 2 the other then bonded them onto the bumper with a 2 pack bonding glue that a little flexable when dry then bolted the splitter to that . had to put small v in the corners so i could pull it round to the profile of the bumper
