Ah ok i see what you mean.

Well, to be fair as you probably know all the seperators do is allow the oil space to drain back into the sump rather than be forced into the air box. This is why i disconnected mine i had some massive airleaks problems, most of which now im fairly sure was the brake servo, but the whole engine becomes a potential air leak, think of all the connections on the engine and where air could get in......loads.

So when you tried re-connecting it the small breather filter you circled is being removed and a pipe from that to the air box is being run??
