Well I made the journey to Oxford, not really knowing what i was going to find when i go there... Was it a shitter, or a minter!!

Well im pleased to say shes a near minter!!! The chap has owned it since 1991 and its been dry stored for the last 3 years. Had one previous owner before that.

Anyway, its a B plate colour coded white one with only 29900 miles with loads of MOT's to back it up....


Good points:/current mods:

- The car has been painted underneath, and has had no welding whatsoever.
- came third in concours a few years back
- koni suspension with 50mm lowering springs all round
- ported and polished head
- RS1600i rocker cover
- 4 branch manifold
- Scorpion stainless steel exhaust
- k&N filter
- MINT engine bay!
- came with CD Player as well!!
- also has boot tray which is apparantly rare
- Dimma fuel cap (proper one!)
- Solex locks

Bad points

- has a wafty whale tail which will be coming off as soon as i get home from work! (was smart in its day i spose) *NOW OFF THE CAR!!*
- has escort cossie bonnet vents cut into the bonnet which will also be being replaced with a normal bonnet (got another bonnet but needs painting!)
- small bit of rust behind the paint on both bottom corners of the doors. Will sort it, but not too fussed as its being covered in vinyl anyway.

And thats about it! The car hasn't moved for three years, only up and down his garden moving it about. Started on the button after chargin the battery up. Brakes/steering etc is sweet, and the car was happily cruising at 80/90/100 all the way home (over 100 miles!).
