seriously, how crap are car dealer parts departments?this week i tried to get hold of a themostat cover gasket for the cossie and was told that i had to buy a thermostat to get one! hmm, so i speak to a different guy and he tells me i can get it on its own so i order it and ask for some injector seals aswell and he says ok he will sort it.i hear nothing for 4 days so i decided to call them up and he then tells me he needs to check something, so he taps away on the computer for about 3 mins and comes back on the phone and tells me - "you cant get those injector seals seperately" how hard is it to get some bits for your car??? anyway, went to pick up the thermostat gasket today got home and it doesnt fit!!!sweeet!this kinda stuff happens all the time at work aswell when i need a part that we change on cars all the time and it so alike little britain its unreal! "computer says NO!" im sure not all parts departments are like this but everyone i have dealt with is useless.anyone tell me a decent place to get a full set of thermostat housing gaskets for a 4x4 cos?

ps i managed to get a set of injector seals from work, they are the same as on the bmw m20 engine
