We actually will very rarely need to access Sage on the Server, so a maximum of 2 machines at once should be enough. I aimagine that Sage doesn't need to be open on the Server for data to still be written to its Accounts folder?
I actually managed to get Sage to talk to me briefly last week, although they aren't supposed to, not having their cover and got snippets of info from them, including, surprisingly an update patch!!
I actually have it fully up and running on the server with the correct data. They told me to set it up on the Workstations with dummy data to get into the program, then restore a backup file on those machines. I have done that, but still cannot get it to reference the main Accounts file.
I am guessing that I might try and uninstall the program from the Workstations and see if there is a better option to try in the install.
