Default Closed loop MOT question

My car reads 0.6% on the emission test because of the closed loop lambda set up and they test the car on idle. But i was wandering as to be in lambda mapping the ecu must sense, a) boost is below 4 psi, b) less then 60% throttle, etc, etc, and also when the engine coolant is above 70 degrees, so what i want to know is what happens if the car is tested when its cold, i.e you leave it with them all day and they test it later on, would it then fail the MOT as it isn't meeting the needs for lambda hence will be in normal cosworth mapping?
