you're right, it is. it's stronger in some ways as well. i'd leave it rwd, but that's just my preference
i'll be in touch with a mate in germany, and see what he can do. can it be any 4x4 sierra? there were quite a lot of 2.0 DOHC models over there, but not so many v6's (although i had one, my estate that is now cossie powered and rwd - and i gave the complete running gear away to turboflush off here)
