Thanks for the reply Stu, although i was looking for a bit more in relation to the questions....
Im going to get it installed and setup next year but i'd still like to try and understand what exactly is going on.
Amal valve is used to lower boost when required
So when would it be required? is it all the time or only when for whatever reason it overboosts?
I assume one of the parameters of an uprated chip is to increase the boost limit, else if you wound up the boost on a standard setup it would cut out, right???
So does this mean that the increase in boost is done by the actuator and the change to the chip's limit is for the purpose of over boosting protection???
and how much it can do so, obviously depends on the jetting used
Is this where the jet being too big/too small/spikes/held boost etc etc comes in???
