But IF you were on a tight budget, and could be in a situation where you may want to remove the head to check on condition (especially with NOS fitted)...i.e. check fir signs if detting.wear etc, then I would "O" ring the bock (can be done in situ) and use the cheap as chips late Escort Cossie head gasket YB1261 (I think that is the part number)...............I only say this because if you take off the head when a WRC gasket is fitted you've blown £ 280.00

With wire rings fitted the cost of replacing then and fitting a new late Es Cos gasket is aboutt £ 28.00 - 34.00 total
