All very good points Kev.
1. The market for it is too large to ignore
2. The mk2 ST is likely to be very similar to the Mk1 RS (i.e. not de-tuned)
3. I'd certainly hope they realise a £20k Festa ain't gonna sell, particularly as the Focus ST will be in that price bracket.

I also think the Focus Cosworth should get the 5pot Volvo lump not the mazda engine but not sure if 5pot is aloud in wrc ??
I also dont think the ST will have the Focus RS trick diff big wheels etc thus to keep the cost down
Ford have to find ways to make the RS cheaply not as they did with the Focus RS instaed of re programing the robots that build the car to work with the Rs bits Fit normal bits ie dummy wheels and seats then get a human to unfit them and refit them
