you can test the ignition system including the ignition amp..:
unplug the ECU to expose the terminals of the 35W connector; with ignition on, momentarily bridge pins 24 & 25 of the ECU harness connector with a piece of stiff wire, each time you bridge and remove the link you should get a spark from the coil. This will test the ign. amp, coil, and wiring to both plus trigger wires to pins 24 and 25 of ECU.
the row of pins that has one less position runs from 19 to 35 (19 is main ground with brown wire), pin 26 should be empty, pins 24 and 25 should be black wires.
