Its the crank spinning the other way. The new 2.0l in the Civic Type R spin as usual, like you Vauhall engine.

but the crank spining the other way has no effect on wether the car lifts the front end that is all because of the force being transfered to the ground throw the wheels
must admit i was wondering about this bit.... surely for the front to be pulled down to the floor rather than lifted you'd need to be in reverse?

otherwise, surely all FWD car manufacturers would be doing this?
