if the RS1800 uses a 240mm clutch its running an MTX75 box, do you have lift reverse Steve?
you should have if its a MTX box as all BC and IB5 boxes are bottom right reverse.

the xr2i will just be a std escort/fez box with a 220mm clutch
hows it possible for mtx75 to fit as i thought they were slightly longer and needed part or the metal in the wheel arch flared out towards the wheel?
