Here you go guys (the thread is actually 3 pages long but I have copied and pasted the main bits).
btw Mr Prof Reading Crew drives a Lotus Carlton

'look-alike'.
Reading Crew says :-
I'm guessing your pushing more than 350bhp now then to get speeds like that.. A standard LC has 377bhp and will reach just over 180 (remember 6th is geared for over 250mph) but that has a drag co-efficient of 0.27, the Fiesta IS MUCH higher than that, I'd estimate atleast 500bhp would be required to obtain those sort of speeds.. unles you chop the top off.
Remember the amount of power required to reach a given speed increases expinentially depening on the drag-coefficient.
To be honest I was going to ask what sort of drugs you were on, ACID sounds the likely suspect
no but i know the laws of physics, maybe it opens a worm hole into deep space and travels back in time?? or maybe its just complete bullsh*t??
Guess what my frontera does 180mph, ive got a video to prove it!! let me just go and callibrate my timing gear with my penis.
Aero dynamics is the problem at those sort of speeds and from what I can see its a Fiesta, there for it has the areo dynamics of an oil tanker, Also theres a very large engine under that bonnet in a transverse configuration so there isnt much room for a gearbox with an exotic array of gearing, ALSO I have seen figures quoted for acceleration & topspeed so you must have some super gear box that has magic gears that open a little door step out, walk to the boot and change with their little gear brothers and all live in a little happy familly in the boot with mummy gear, daddy gear and all the little baby gears.
Call me crazy, maybe I am, you never know! but I have this slight incling, that a skyline might have, well you never know, just incy, wincey, teeny, weeny, slightly better areo dynamics than a fiesta.. but like said call me CRAAAAAZY!

Regarding your gearbox comments......tell me, what are my gear ratio's and final drive? Answer = as per usual you know jack sh!t. If you ever did find out believe me you would be in for one hell of a shock. LOL
Man it makes me laugh when you come on here acting like a professor. I'll give you a teeny bit of credit there are some very true facts that you have said (pity it's only 2% of your entire posts) however it's a pity you make yourself look like a complete idiot by adding the usual Reading crew contribution of bullsh!t.
Conclusion being I am so gutted that I have proven my times on different timing gears on different occasions and attended various shootouts but really I am ever so gutted that you don't believe me....seriously you gotta believe me!
I have been reading comments made by you on this site for quite a while now and considering you don't know me or jack sh!t about my car anyone with half a brain can see how jealous you are. Get yourself a life. Why do you always come on here and degrade posts like this just because your jealous??? (ooppss I just answered my own question) LOL
I see how you never disputed the fact that you’re a horse’s c0ck and never mentioned anything about your look-alike Carlton police car.
You see in the REAL world people tune cars and make them go faster instead of buying wannabee cars and sticking stickers under the bonnet claiming that they have the power of the police!!!! We also do it for the love of it and respect others who achieve their goals unlike jealous idiots like you.
Lastly - Do you have a CD with the sound of a Police siren that you play when you drive on the motorway...must make you feel like your going ever faster hey.
I aint got time to come on here and reply to jealous keyboard warriors like you...normally I would say "put up or shut up" however I am sure if you ever brought the police siren cd and your wannabe go faster sticker engine I wouldn’t stand a chance. Now go and try and wind someone else up Professor Bull$h!t!

I'm with Davey on this one - apart from the car would never reach 178.8mph if it went off a cliff (air resistance again!)
Anyone who has even the slightest understanding of the basic laws of physics would agree too
