I got my s2erst in early jan 06 and was told a basic spec of the engine and car,the car was real nice for the money(£2k) but since owning the car i needed to find out the spec for future upgrades etc, well the logbook turned up and the cars had 4 previous owners and the last owner had it for 4 yrs so i wrote him a letter hoping he'd done all the work.......well last night he rang me up with the goods news.........
brand new phase 3 zetec 2.0l bottom end low compression mahle pistons, lightened and balanced crank, lightened flywheel, gasflowed and ported head,mongoose 3" bore exhaust 4" pipe,kent cam and vernier pulley, 5th inj, stage 2 hybrid t3, new shotpeened ford internals for gearbox, ap racing paddle clutch, all this was done at 89k miles the cars now on 91.5k.........to say im chuffed is an understatment the car was looked after by castleperformance and they also confirmed that the turbo was a bit noisy..........total spent circa £10k on the car
so with the stage 3 t3 hybrid turbo and evo5 grs intercooler that im fitting what sort of poer can i expect 250bhp????????
the cars also got spaxsportkit, cossie front brakes, polybushed
NOW THE BAD NEWS. the person he sold the car to didnt want the old mots or history/receipts, so he thinks hes binned the lot , but he will email me pics of the build and any paperwork he has left
