You need to be carefull if its a triple layer gasket, if the block and head are not perfect the gasket will fail, the head is easy to sort with a skim, but the block? major work. ive been told to only use them on new blocks, as the gasket cannot absorb any imperfections in the surface.
i was told the same, Karl advised me to get it wire runged, ringed or what ever its called, Karl can do this for a little bit more than a cometic head gasket
