Before I drove to West Wales this weekend I checked my 2wd over and noticed how many air gaps there were around the 500 intercooler and around the turbo cooler i blocked some of the easy ones to get at after reading that this is always done on group A Cars. My temp guage has dropped the bottom of the R in norm and the motor seems sharper possible due to the intercooler working better giving lower air temp into the inlet. going to take the bumper off next week and do a complete job not sure if it is connected but this was the first time I have ever done the round trip on one tank of fuel !
