Phil - IMHO most of the ones pictured above are WAY over the top for a little track car. I know you can't skimp on safety but a basic bolt in cage, and better seats and proper belts is all thats in order.

All new approved cages should have a 50mm main hoop and the rest should be between 32 or 38 mm. Thats more than enough for what you need.
