Hope somebody can help. Need to know the following:-

What current does a heated front screen draw?

Are there 2 relays on a standard set up?

Is there a timer in the system on a standard set up?

Are there any recommendations as to how long the screen should be left on?

How long does it normally take to clear a screen that is misted up on the inside?

Reason for asking is had to put a new screen in a rally car following a re-shell and wiring that is in car is 1 relay (40A) with a + feed then splitting and going to wires on either side of the screen. This set up gets quite hot around the relay plug, and think need to have a separate relay feeding each side, but just need a bit more info before starting even more work.

Alas no heater so this item fairly vital, as found out last Saturday.
