I have run a 19 row oil cooler for a couple of years, but always run it with the modine heat exchanger in place.

Karl has mentioned that it's not necessary, especially for a track car.

With the new car and the Group A engine mounts, I can't physically fit the sandwich plate on with the modine in place.
