I would be wary of this if you plan to run biggish power.

A good friend of mine had Ceramic coated pistons on his R34 GTR Skyline, the car was running big power. But a part of the ceramic flaked off of the piston at heated operating temp, under extreme load, and had a knock on effect of lots more chipping and flaking off.

The end result was a VERY badly scored and scratched bore, and the head needed reworked. But it was so deeply scored that it ended up costing a fortune.

Just thought it would be worth mentioning.
