, as the spring always seems to rub this side (but not the other) on every single Cossie with coil-overs. This will be the creaking you can hear. If you look, you will see a shiney area worn away where the spring has been rubbing (and making the creaking noise). Hit this with big rubber hammer to "shape" it, and then grease the spring for good measure. Job done.
Mike, is this on the front as you mentioned the inside wing ?
My GAZ rears creek like mad aswell but on closer inspection it is actually the inside of the coil on the spring catching the damper body itself
What would cause this ??
Worn bushes, faulty shock ??
Anyone got any ideas what this may be as the coilovers dont seem to have caught on the bodyshell anywhere
