Default Piston rod gone

Do i have to get the crankshaft out and regrind it when there is almost no marks in/on it?
The piston rod is gone no doubt about it and so are bearings. I changed the bearings in a hope that it would work, but it didnt and now it ratles like a mofo. I was stupid not to check tha piston rod and now i can see that it has been grinded to a bigger size
So i would realy like to know what to do next.
I know that the best thing is to get the shaft out and regrind it but i dont have the time for such a big opperation and i realy need the car, so can i "just" change the piston rod and bearing whithout it all going to helle again?
