I'm after a mk3 cortina.

Basicly the XR2 is getting retired in April so I can concentrate on converting it fully to a track only car.

I'm after a Mk3 Tina because i) want to use it as a daily driver ii) its bigger and more comfortable than a stripped out XR2 iii) its going to be a bit more practical on the shopping run iv) I can use it to tow the XR2.

Not only that I can stick a tonne of ICE in it so I can actually listen to my music and over a bit of time, restore it.

But as far as my knowlage of the different models and that and how much they are... I dont know to much.

I'll probably go for a 4-door just for praticality, but I know the 2-doors are rare as fook. But I do want one with the view to stick in a decent engine. Maybe something like the cosworth 24v V6 from a granada scorpio.

Which one would be the best for doing this conversion and how much would I be looking at for one?
