the evo is the faster car,not just in this case but in general.i wont argue the fact any longer

There are some super fast fords, that can keep up with some of the fastest of jap cars which have a clear advantage in modern engineering but the cosworth foundations keep em going strong. Of course theres faster cars than fords when did anyone claim otherwise. get it straight 1st before stupid comments.
In this case a 18 year old escort which had 132hp from standard now just under 200hp above that beat an 04' or similar evo that was 100hp above standard. Considering the time gap and mechanical advantages etc i'd say this was defintely fair to compare power gains...and the escort won

the escort won in what respect? he got past on the straight fair enough,but the evo wasnt far behind and soon went past and vanished into the horizon,if they were to race on the road the evo would be gone before the escort even gets a chance to get near it,and if it were a rolling start the evo would have still beaten it. im not going to argue the fact,that the evo is the quicker car here....
the question was "who won",you say 'considering the time gap and mechanical advantages' but this has nothing to do with who won,your just making excuses for why the evo is faster
he won by being clearly the faster car in this instance...
on a rolling start it would of been even more covincing, we know what RST's are like off the line. The evo overall is a faster car when was that disputed....
lol why would i make excuses for anything, especially the EVO being faster. I mentioned the time gap since it was said that christians car was tuned so far above standard, but with modern engineering on the Evo's side i don;t think this gives the s2 any major advantage, especially against a 380hp evo!!
