people upgrade say on evo's from standard brembo's to an AP kit is generally for the fact that Brembo dont do an off the self kit that bolts onto an Evo. Its the same company your buying from, so why does it matter to them.
Why make 2 kits for the same car, when you can make 1.
no kit is better than the other in my opinion as vary rarley due u see the same idenitcal spec'd kit for the same car for a comparison.
your talking about comparing standard production brakes, which are generally smaller to racing brakes with larger disc diametres.

Just a shame there is not a brake guide covered in a mag ect. as that would be a very interesting read all the different calipers/ disc's/ pads, covered on the same spec car
the mags should have bigger budgets to cover this
