You could load it with grease.....but all the shit and bits of grit are going to stick to it, then your going to come along with your nice clean rag on a weekend to clean it, the grease and dirt are going to get on the rag, then before you know it you're scratched your paint up and spread the grease everywhere
Get a touch up pen or something, DON'T be brave and buy an aerosol we've all seen the tragic results when someone thinks they can do a good spray job with an aerosol
Thats what i would do personally, you can very lightly file the holes to clean the edges up then put a bit of paint on with a touch up pen or a brush and it should look alright. If your really fussy (like me) you could put a spot of seam sealer (or even better filler if your feeling brave) and then touch it up.........endless possibilities
