The reason people started going ZVH and zetec was for loads of power as it's easier than it is to extract from 1600....

If people are prepared to spend thousands on engine conversions because cvh's are 'tappety' when they could just as easily achieve the power, you've got shitloads more cash than me. A well maintained engine be it cvh or zetec won't go bang so long as it's looked after.
