That doesn't look good.

Neither the heated screen or the fan blowers wiring are in that section of the loom either, i think its probably not going to be worth repairing. Theres a lot of fried wires there and if your going to do it properly its very time consuming chasing wires and cutting and joining sections in, and you may even go to all that trouble and not even cure the fault, and it will all go up again.

That in my opinion is not safe to drive around in, a fire waiting to happen amongst many other possible nightmares.

Keep your eye out on eBay looms creep up on there fairly regularly. Don't quote me on it but i think around £50 for a loom is about average. Obviously you would have to put your alarm over to the new loom, but thats going to be easier in my opinion.
