Hello gents,

I recently bought a Scorpio cosworth, there was an initial problem with it where all the water kept seeping out. This was because of a faulty radiator cap, which i replaced for a new one.

The water no longer seeps out now, however i have noticed that the temperature gauge seems to rise a little every now and then, and then drop back down to the middle position.

Im just wondering if its normal for them to do this?

Im assuming that the temp should stay centre? No?

My mechanic said he dont think its the head gasket, as the pressure in the pipes are as they should be.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as the guy who sold me the car said he would be more then happy to refund me if i think theres a problem with it.
