when talking air temps, i think it's easy to get carried away. Providing everything is mapped as it should be, 50 or 60 degrees will show itself as a loss in power compared to 30-40 degrees, but it's hardly going to melt. I've seen RST's running over 100C temps, and they are still going strong. I'd be more interested in cylinder head and exhaust temps.
