If this route...stick with the ones I have listed, some are loaded with sugar...ok for post but a bit heavy any other time....some will offer over 25g of sugar
How many times a day;...does depend on the individual and your daily calorie needs really, so if you know this you can structure in the meal/meals to meet your needs. Some may take one serving where others may take 4 or more.
The best Time;....in the morning or plenty of time pre workout or post workout...up to you.
Option 2
These can be taken anytime really and even as a pm "evening shake" due to the low carbs 20g and the mix of fast a slow proteins + the benefit of the minerals and vits.
1 Sachet has roughly
38g Protein
20g Carbs of which (2g is sugar)
2.6 Fat
If you need more carbs or calories you could blend in some oats or add some EFA from an oil blend...or blend in a banana!!option are endless.
Finally
Yes you can still use it....best times are first thing in the morning or post work out.
Another idea is to add it to the Meal Replacement to boost the protein even more and then split into 2 shakes!
