Default rs startin prob

Hey up peeps

Small prob with the RS, after many moons of the thing not starting I have finally managed to get it going only 1 problem though!

To start it I need to bridge the fuel relay and leave it going for about 30-60 seconds and then start it and then it starts with a bit of a struggle! Once started it is fine at idle and also when out on the road both on boost and off.

Once the car has been started I can then restart it without bridging the relay, but if I leave it for any time then I have to go through the bridging the relay route again?

If I try to start it without bridging the relay it will just turn over until the battery dies.

It has not been set up since I fitted the S2 metering head due to not being able to get it to the tuners. The fuel pump sounds ok no funny noises or anything like that.

On the front of the fuel pressure regulator there is a small length of 3-6mm vacuum tube which has been blanked off where is this meant to go?

Any hints, tips or idea cheers
