Ironically mate, no not really.
Obviously there gets to a point that there is a limit, a set of 500bhp jets on a moped isnt going to work for example.
but provdiing the engine is capable of cleaning burning the extra fuel and nitrous the jetted amounts will give surprisingly similar outputs on totally different engines.
Other factors such as wether the engine is turbo'd or not have more influenece on the power outcome than the size of the engine.
I would typcially get bigger gains for a calibra turbo on 50bhp jets than i would on a V8 on 50bhp jets for example.
The biggest single factor in wether you get decent gains on most engines is down to the ignition strength and the timing map.
