A friend of mine has a Mondeo 2.0 ghia M reg with the Zetec engine.

Engine was running sweet as a nut til about a week ago when it just died on him for no reason and dscided it wasn't gonna start again.

Checked it out and the spark plugs are sparking and there's fuel getting through but the water in the expansion tank seems to be disappearing as you turn the engine over. All hoses are fine (no splits etc) and there's no water coming out anywhere.

Checked the oil and that appears to be ok as well and there's no gunge under the oil filler cap.

Any ideas peeps??
