Yes! Have a look under (any) Vauxhall Carlton and tell me what you see?!
You'll find the exact same set up as any Sierra. So the Sierra stuff isn't exactly cutting edge or at the fore front of design!
From what I have heard, I would sooner have Ford Europe build quality.
